George and George key are merging and scammers are trying to take advantage of the situation 

Scrammers work in different ways.  You will receive a text message with a link to log in to George or a link to a website to download an app that looks like George. They may also call you under various reasons, such as wanting to “help” you with the transition between the George Key and George apps, or to warn you about your account being hacked and losing money and convince you to hand over the Activation Code.

Keep in mind that:

  • Česká spořitelna will never send you a text message with a link inviting you to fill in your details for George internet banking or download the George app.
  • Switching from George key to George is only done in mobile George and we will guide you through the process step by step.
  • If anyone from the bank calls you about this, make sure you are really talking to us. Do not share any of your information with him or her, end the call and call us at 420 800 207 207 or report the situation to the nearest branch.
