#Stronger Bank
If we want to be an example of long-term prosperity for others, we must first and foremost work on ourselves. That's why we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations, the satisfaction and development of our employees, openness and diversity in our teams, accessibility of services and products for all, ethical compliance, or risk management.
It is essential to us that all our services and products are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities or social limitations. We promote fair access, building trust and positive relationships with our clients.
At Česká spořitelna, we see diversity as a source of innovation and inspiration, and it is part of our corporate culture. We believe that more diverse teams are our competitive advantage and open the door to new opportunities and customers.
An inclusive company culture means recognizing each employee in their individuality. We see diversity and inclusion as a mindset that commits us to treating each other with respect, so everyone feels safe to speak their mind openly.
To fulfill our commitment to leading people and companies to long-term prosperity, several prerequisites must be met. In addition to our professionalism and ability to provide quality and expert financial advice, it is essential that we always act with integrity and ethics. Our Code of Ethics helps us to do this.
Should an illegal act do occur, we have a whistleblowing tool in place that allows employees to report such acts anonymously and ensure that they are investigated and remedied.
We invest in our people, their skills, and capabilities so that they can enhance the financial health and prosperity of our clients. This is the beginning of our transformation to deliver our mission. We create an environment where we inspire each other, where we feel safe, and that allows us to develop professionally and personally.
We have an extensive training network for our employees, covering key areas such as data security, ethical behavior, workplace compliance and, last but not least, sustainability training.
Our remuneration policy at CS is designed to support a sustainable business model that takes sustainability risks into account. Each year we carefully update our guidelines and policies to ensure the proper and efficient running of our organization. This process allows us to respond to new regulatory changes and maintain our standards at the highest level.
Although emissions from our own operations (Scope 1+2) represent only a small part of our total emissions, we are working hard to reduce them. Examples of activities that lead to a reduction in our own emissions are the purchase of electricity from renewable sources, energy savings, the development of electric mobility, and last but not least the construction of our new headquarters.
