Beware of a new trick of fraudsters. You may receive an SMS informing you that an "unauthorised device" has connected to your online account.

The fraudulent SMS pretends to be a security alert from our bank. Included in the text message is a request to authenticate the device immediately. This is followed by a link that you should click on. Don't do it! You'll lose money.

  • If you click on the link, do not fill in your security details (those of your card or Bank Identity, i.e. your George login details).
  • Delete the text message, and if you receive a similar message in the future, treat it the same way.
  • If you have filled in any details in the link, call us on 800 207 207 as soon as possible.
  • Scan the fraudulent SMS and send it to us at phishing@csas.cz
