Clients have particularly appreciated the extraordinary Moneyback programme. Spořitelna has also joined the Merciful Summer initiative. We greatly appreciate that our effort to promote the financial health of clients is reflected in the ever-increasing trust in our services. As a result, the number of active George digital banking users surpassed the 2 million milestone. Customers' confidence is also reflected in solid loan and deposit growth and is positively impacting our profitability. However, when comparing ČS´s overall profit year-on-year, we need to take into the account that the last year was negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the ongoing uncertainty, our non-performing loans remain stable and capital position strong,“ said Ivan Vondra, Česká spořitelna’s CFO in his reaction to the Bank´s Q1-3 2022 financial results.
