Documents

Last Article Update 13.01.2026

All agreements you have concluded and signed with us via electronic banking are available in one place in George Business. This also includes documents that were previously signed in BUSINESS 24. You can return to your documents at any time. This section is also used to deliver documents intended for signing or for reading, depending on your contractual authorizations.

Accessing Documents

You can access documents from the left-hand menu by selecting “Documents”.

If you have a document ready for signing, you will see a notification on the home page in the “For your attention” section. By clicking on the notification, you will be taken directly to the detail of the relevant document.

Notifications of New Documents

You’ll always be notified of new documents for signing:

  • by email,
  • and via a notification on the George Business home page in the “For your attention” section.

The documents you can see or sign depend on your authorizations. The same authorizations also determine which documents are available to you only for reading or for downloading.

“Action required” section

Documents waiting for your signature are displayed at the top of the page in the “Action required” section. Click on a specific document to open its detail.

How to Sign a Document

  1. Documents are signed either individually or jointly with another authorized user, depending on the contractual authorization settings. If another authorized user’s signature is required, the document will be marked as “Waiting for collective signing” in the “Action required” section. By selecting “Show more”, you can see in the document detail who else needs to sign the document.

Once all authorized users have signed the document, it will be moved to the “Archived documents & requests” section.

  2. Before signing, you must read the document.

You can download documents individually or all at once using the “Download all” button.

  3. After reviewing, choose whether you want to approve or reject the document case:

    • “Sign” – to accept the terms and approve the process.
    • “Dismiss” – to reject the terms and stop the process.

If you select “Dismiss”, you will be asked to provide a reason. The reason will be visible to the banker who issued the document in your online banking.

  4. Confirm your signature in the George Business mobile app.

Document Signing Deadline

Each document has a defined deadline, usually seven days, by which it must be electronically signed. If you miss the deadline, please contact your banker.

Filtering Documents

In the “Documents” section, filters are available. You can filter documents, for example, by category. Only categories for which you have authorization within the relevant document agendas are displayed.

Confidential Documents

Some documents may be subject to a confidential document regime and are visible only to users authorized to Access documents and confidential information or Manage access to documents and confidential information. These permissions are granted by the company’s legal representative.

Documents may become confidential in two ways:

  1. When issuing documents in George Business, the banker may mark a case as confidential in agreement with an authorized user.

  2. At any time during the document’s lifecycle, a user with authorization to Manage access to documents and confidential information may mark the case as confidential. Once marked as confidential, the entire case becomes confidential regardless of how many documents it includes.

A document case can be made public at any time, whether it was marked confidential by a banker or an authorized user. This does not affect the requirement to have other product-specific authorizations (e.g. for daily banking or credit products).
