What is PIN Code

PIN stands for Personal Identification Number, which is issued with every payment card. It is used to verify your payment transactions or cash withdrawals from ATMs.

The PIN code for a payment card is usually a unique four-digit number. Make sure to memorize your PIN and never share it with anyone. If you suspect that someone has gained unauthorized access to your PIN and could misuse your card, block the card immediately or contact us.

How to View the PIN Code

Only the cardholder can view the PIN code of the respective card.

The PIN code can be displayed for cards that are in the Active or Inactive status.

How to Change the PIN Code

You can change your PIN code free of charge at any ATM.

For security reasons and to prevent misuse of the card, it is not possible to change the PIN in the George Business internet or mobile banking.

PIN Delivery Method

The PIN delivery settings are available in the George Business web application for both card administrators and cardholders.

In the card detail, go to Functions in the left-hand menu. In the Delivery Settings section, you will see how the PIN will be delivered. The cardholder will also see the delivery address.

Forgotten PIN

If you forget your PIN code, you can view it directly in the George Business app (both web and mobile).

If you need the PIN to be resent, request it at a branch or through Corporate Client Support (or via BUSINESS 24 online banking, if you still have access). The PIN will then be sent by mail to the cardholder’s address. This service is subject to a fee according to the price list.
