What is branch authorisation?

An account with branch authorisation can only be used by the holder at a branch or in George if they have arranged access. Other authorised users of the account can only handle funds at a branch. If the account authorisation is set as branch authorisation, neither the holder nor the authorised users can handle the account by phone via the client centre.
