What is a „platbomat“?

For clients who prefer to pay invoices and bills using classic paper payment orders, Česká spořitelna offers a convenient service called a „platbomat”. This machine is similar to an ATM, but it contains no cash. It allows clients to submit payment orders quickly and easily. Using it is cheaper than using a collection box. To use a „platbomat”, you must have a Česká spořitelna debit or credit card. Clients are charged CZK 5 per payment transaction (payment order or money order) made via a „platbomat”.
