Treasury bills (T-Bills) are discounted short-term securities, issued by the Czech State, Ministry of Finance respectively. The market in T-Bills is not open to the public and is organized by the Czech National Bank (CNB). Česká spořitelna can provide access to the market by acting as client’s agent. The profit from an investment in T-Bills is identical to the current level of interest rates on the money market.

Česká spořitelna can mediate following investment opportunities:

• Purchase on the primary market
• Purchase and sale on the secondary market
• REPO transaction
• Reverse REPO transaction

Due to the nominal value of a T-Bill (CZK 1 mil.) and the fees paid to CNB, it is only beneficial for the investor to invest into this product from CZK 100 mil.
