A term deposit is a fundamental short- term investment tool. Client’s money (local or standard foreign currency) is deposited at Česká spořitelna for a set period of time, at a set interest rate, at a set amount.

For deposit volumes exceeding CZK 5 mil. or a foreign currency equivalent, the interest rate is fixed individually.

The credit interest is subject to the withholding tax.
