The Ceska Sporitelna Foundation

In 2002, Ceska Sporitelna set up a foundation in order to support cultural, educational, and scientific projects, as well as projects concerning public and social affairs, healthcare, charity, civic activities, sports, and ecology.

The Ceska Sporitelna Foundation focused primarily on providing financial support in two strategic areas, based on the bank’s CSR: Assistance for People in Need (focusing on the ageing population and assistance in drug prevention and treatment of abusers), and Sustainable Development (care for the environment).  Ceska Sporitelna primarily invests into a third strategic area - Education, with a primary, but not exclusive, focus on financial education.
