The Director of the Ceska Sporitelna Transaction Processing Division is Karel Vítkovský

Karel Vítkovský became the Director of the Ceska Sporitelna Transaction Processing Division on 1 February 2010, replacing Zuzana Vyskočilová in the position, who led the division until the end of this January. 

“I am very pleased with it; but, at the same time, I see it as a great responsibility.  I think that we have given the right dimension and direction to the payment system in recent years, and I would like to continue in this, moving the Bank another bit further along in this area,” said Karel Vítkovský, Director of the Ceska Sporitelna Transaction Processing Division.

Karel Vítkovský (born in 1957) has worked at Ceska Sporitelna since 2000.  Over the course of nine years, he has gone through the positions of the Head of the Payment System Methodology Department, Director of the Domestic Payment System and Foreign Payment System Section, and Deputy Director of the Payment System Division (later the Transaction Processing Division).  In 2009, he was elected Chairman of the Committee for the Payment System of the Czech Banking Association and he also represents the Czech Banking Association in the European Payment Council and the European Banking Federation.  Karel Vítkovský came to Ceska Sporitelna from Komerční banka, where he was the Director of the Cash Operations and Cheques Section.

Karel Vítkovský graduated from the University of Economics, and in 1993 he studied at the Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
