We would like to draw your attention to another version of fraudulent
e-mail (known as “phishing”). Its author is trying to obtain clients´
access codes to the internet banking (by incorporating a link to fraudulent web
pages in the body of the e-mail), this time referring to the need to register
for a purported internet information service, which will allow you to download
the electronic newsletter Info plus.
The author of the fraudulent e-mail reacted to the fact that we informed
you in the last printed version of the Info plus that we started electronic
distribution of the newsletter.
Let us repeat again that Ceska Sporitelna has never sent out a
similar message. We never ask for our clients´ security data via e-mail and
never require that clients enter their personal banking details, such
as PIN number for the card, client’s number or password.
We insist that you do not react to the e-mail and do not enter any
of the required information. Should you have reacted to the e-mail, we
recommend that you immediately contact the Client Interactive Center at
tel. 800 207 207 (00420 582 405 405from
abroad) in order to block the service and to generate new access
