An over-the-phone access to accounts is secured by a unique client number and a security password, in some cases also by the contract number. Their entering before initiation of any passive or active transaction on your account ensures your identification and verification of your identity.
Fund transfers from giro or current accounts through SERVIS 24 Telebanking are limited by daily limits specified in clients´ agreements. The standard recommended limit is CZK 50 thousand, however actual maximum limits can be individually agreed to as much as CZK 100 thousand. To reduce down your limit, you can call telephone bankers or visit your branch; if you want to increase the limit you can only do so in person at the branch of Česká spořitelna.
Active transactions within the limit specified in the agreement can be initiated without authentication calculator. Whenever you wish to initiate an over-the-limit transaction you will be prompted to use your authentication calculator.
Data security in the Bank
The Bank is protected against systems hacking by efficient combination of hardware and software protection technologies. To ensure the highest protection of your accounts, all transactions initiated through IVR (automatic voice service) or telephone bankers are monitored and your communication with telephone bankers is automatically recorded.
